As promised some pictures and tracks of the Apostle Islands...

In Response To: I'm finally back from Wisc. and the Apsotle Islands... (Jerry Carpenter P-18 # 504)

This was our track the first day when we went to Raspberry Island. The zig zags were on the way to the island and that path took us 6 miles longer than the straight shot coming back.

This was the track the second day when the wind picked up and we decided not to go all the way to Stockton Island because we did not want to beat all the way back from there.

And these are a few photo's we took. This first one is the other light house on Long Island. Tom posted a picture of one and this is the other one.

This is a typical shoreline along the lake.

And one of the many sea caves on the shoreline.

And since we had Karen and Lorraine along with us, we had this standing joke about "Girl wind or Guy wind". This is what happens when Tim is at the helm in a period of "Girl Wind". He needs to take a snooze

And this is a picture the girls took of us sailing from the Ferry when they were taking the car back to the mainland.

The only way this could have been a better trip is if we would have had even more folks from the forum join us.
