(Jerry Carpenter P-18 # 504) we decided to shorten the trip because of the building winds,is one of the best anchoages. If you look at the thin peninsula that juts out from it, there is good anchorages on both sides depending on wind direction. It is there many people base to cruise on to the outer islands. It is shallow enough to provide 2 rows of boats at anchor. It does sometimes get pretty crowded.
