I sent the attached photo to a good friend Jim, who happens to be a motor boater with a 38 foot twin 454 gas guzzler, who also has a Coast Guard Master License. Jim occasionally ferries power boats to the Islands from Florida.

“Here is a picture of Pete's boat high water marks and all. He had to be leaning at 30 deg plus to get water that high .There is way too much stuff on the deck to trip on for me. I need an open deck with a clear path to the ice maker. Pete mentions 24 knot winds as challenging. I call winds like that a second round of margaritas at the dock. Why untie a perfectly good boat in that kind of wind.
