Taking our 2 year-old on this year's cruises is a topic we've discussed endlessly. Our first foray to the Thousand Islands in May was with our daughter. For sure not the best weekend to take her, since it was windy as hell and very cold (we ended up getting a hotel room for the second night), not to mention the fact that she was a bit sick with a cold.
There were plenty of times in the North Channel when we wished our daughter were there with us. But then there were 2 or 3 times when we were reassured by her absence; somehow a 21-footer pitching and rolling against 3-foot seas doesn't seem like a lot of fun for a 2 year-old.
Maybe in 2010. Next year is out of the question since our second will be 6 months old.
