Cam Cleats

Al and Rob, Thank you both for your suggestions and photos. Great solutions. I notice that in the photos the jib sheets are running to the cam cleats without running through the winches. Is that ever a strain on the cams? And in the case of Al's setup, are you able to run from the winch to the cam?

No. On boats our size we don't really need the winches for the sheets -- Rob M, P-21, Minuet building. -- 4/28/09 11:09a.m.
