In Response To: No. On boats our size we don't really need the winches for the sheets (Rob M, P-21, Minuet building.)

I primarily use the winch to raise the main up the last few inches. When I sail with someone in high winds, we will sometimes use the winch and the cleat. I usually single hand though and exclusively use the camcleat. The extreme angle is a great choice. We installed a set on my friends P-23 down in florida. We used regular Harken camcleat without the extreme angle option and both of us feel that my set-up is better. The pins that guide the sheet through the cleat (on the extreme angle one) really do help especially when I am sitting on the opposite side of the sail. Releasing and setting the sheet is easy. I placed the camcleat inbeteen the winch and stock cleat so that I would keep my options open. If I had to do it all over again, I would place it exactly where it is. I am launching Off The Wind today and will take some additional pics of the set-up and possibly post them tonight,
