Shore power and industrial fitting are over-kill. Residential fittings are not intended to be plugged in while in use.
But in reality,if... * you have it on a gfi circuit, * you provide a good drip loop and keep it away from standing water, * if you can, keep it out of the rain, * keep the prongs greased to exclude water, * tie it off at both ends when in a slip,
you should be OK with an extension cord. Make it a good one and keep the prongs greased to exclude water - that is worth repeating. My entire marina has standard outdoor 110v receptacles instead of marine power, and no GFI. Frightening. But it has been that way for a long while without event. That doesn't make it right, but it does suggest that with some precautions, you'll be OK.
On my Stiletto I have a short 110v pigtail coming out from under a downward sloping hatch, and I plug into that. My PDQ has a shore power plug, it fits poorly, is located in a foot traffic area, and it scares me more.
Remember, DO NOT CONNECT THE 110v GROUND TO THE 12 GROUND. EVER. Very bad.
