Well, let the games begin - at least the northern ones.... Splashed Off The Wind into Pistakee Lake yesterday with the help of my friend and fellow P-21 owner Tom Roesing. We picked yesterday because it was the best of a crappy week. After stepping the mast, etc I motored the mile or so to the marina from the launch ramp and it was cold !! After setting all the lines we decided to go and get lunch and a brew - ahh that's much better. We then broke out the fowl weather gear over a hooded sweatshirt and sailed for 4.5 hours. Great 12-15 mph winds and no one on the water. Saw the Coast Guard Aux and that was all. A wonderful day was had by all and now I am ready for the season.....
