Sell your boat for just $1

Seems like a good solution...but

In Response To: I have a small 30 lb thrust 5 speed motor. (Jack, H23.5, SecondSojourn,Clermont Fl.)

my slip is situated such that 90% of the time a following wind "helps" my boat in. With 20 knots of wind and without engine or sail my boat makes nearly 2 knots with wind astern. The width of the slip is 9.75' and my beam is 8.5' making for a challenging situation. Have padded the piers, as fenders cannot be deployed during the process because they hang up upon entry.

Horsepower is needed for braking before entry, then allowing the application of forward power for steerage into the slip at about 0.4 knots. So far no damage - Knock wood (or fiberglass).
