Those are some of the considerations that might point you to one or another boat. Another is how long you will keep the boat before you outgrow it or decide you want a different boat? That may help you decide if you want to buy a used boat. How used (old) a boat it is will depend on how much maintenance and replacement of worn out stuff you are willing to take on. New boats depend on you pocketbook. No matter what you decide, you will have fun with it, so you can't go too wrong.
