The Catalina 22s are always with me, but this year, there were C22s in both my class, and one class up. Last year I thought I won my class, but then I was put together with a Mirage (with Marty Hatchett on board from our forum) that was always in a different class before that, and this year, the Mirages were in a different class again. I'm just guessing the Oday 23 should be in another class, because 23 ft boats are usually one class up, but I don't know. Not just the classes, but the relative start times also change every year, which is a little disturbing, but doesn't really matter, because we rarely have more than 1-2kt of wind in the morning. However, at least they should reveal the classification of the boats before the race, so you'd know who you race against. On the other hand, what's important is the sailing, and not the number printed on the mug.
This time, I could not go to the price giving, but someone took a cup for me, and apparently he did it because they did call my name! I guess they'll contact me if they made a mistake.
