Welcome to the forum. There was quite a bit of discussion recently with a new to the forum gentleman concerning what to buy. I have had my P18 since purchasing it new in 1992. I have not had a need to change boats. Have you checked the Precision Owners site? There were a couple of 18's on the for sale section a couple of days ago.

This is a great forum and I look forward to your participation.
