(Chet) I sail my 185 in the gulf of mexico in steady 7-12 kts winds which gust to say 20 late afternoons. I think the ride is great. I sail by myself or with one other person with me. You know when you shredding water, you get that nice hum from the boat. I sit back and kick my feet up and enjoy the ride and scenery. I think Donnie means you have to pay more attention to detail and be more apt to adjust to changing conditions more quickly. But, the 185 is a nice ride, faster than most.
