I have owned & sailed several trailerable boats, O'day 23, Oday 272 and a Precision 28. In our club we have several O'day 26 & 25's. The bigger the boat the more difficult is is to tow, raise the mast and depth needed at the boat landings. I recommend the O'day 272. It draft is 2'11", sails well and has a very comforable below deck. Cost runs around $15,000 to $20,000. You can find some fixer uppers for around $10,000 or less which is a good deal. The O'Days are known for a heavy, durable hull and can be fixed up with your personel touches to make a great boat. Good luck. Captain Doug of the "Main Squeeze".
