(Tim Sharpe P21 "JennyLyn") The stanchions should be held in with bolts except for maybe around the bulkheads but that wouldn't be threads, just grooves in the wood. I've used a drill bit that's just a little bit smaller than the hole. I don't use it on the drill just move it around in there by hand. John
