Date: 5/12/09 7:16p.m. Report: outside forum guidelines In Response To: bimini top (pic) (jrw45) I got the vinyl and aluminum model that measures 6' wide by 6' long. It was the largest that would fit good. Part of it covered the companionway so I could keep the cabin open in the rain. I could also stand up behind the bimini. i got the vinyl because its more water proof, but I got the sunbrella on my hunter. I like the vinyl a little better. It mounts just outside the coaming and folds forward or back, but is always in the way. In reality, I sailed with the top up 95% of the time. Some pictures..
