In Response To: Conoeing the Mighty Miss (Bob Slatter P18 John Boy Woodstock, IL)

An interesting book by a fellow who did canoe the river is by Eddy Harris by the title "Mississippi Solo". More interesting is that he is an African American and the complexities involved there going down the river.

I'd recommend reading the book, and then plan your trip.
