The OEM battery in my Suburban leaked acid all over the place

It ate through a bunch of parts that were under or near the battery. Cost about $800 to fix. The SOBs wouldn't cover it under warranty when the truck was about 1.5 years old, because batteries aren't covered. The SOB told me I should just be glad I don't have a Corvette, because it happens to them all the time and usually eats through $4k worth of parts. You'd think they'd just put better batteries in them.
