George, I can't tell from your description what "pin" you're talking about. Is this the usual OEM Johnson tubular turnbuckle with a swaged upper end attached to the jibstay and a jaw/toggle lower end that attaches to the stem jib tack fitting? Have you tried one of the national marine supply houses -- e.g., Layline, Defender, Boater's World, Sailnet, West Marine, etc. -- who carry the Johnson brand? If it's a Johnson, they'd surely have available -- or could get -- any of the parts to them. BTW, anyone else notice that since WM bought Boat/US, prices seem to be climbing on those items not on special sale? I looked in my West M. master catalog and then went online to see if they had the same thing I could give a link to, and some of the online prices seemd 5-10% higher.
