I suggest you use the "Search" function on this forum. You'll find a great deal of discussion on that. Look at the main page of this forum. Find the box above the index that gives "Preferences" Click on that. Set your preferences to view the last 60 months. Then click on "SEARCH" When it takes you to all the forums, click the box at the bottom that says NONE to wipe check marks off all the forums. Then check just the "S2" forum. Then use as search terms prebend and pre-bend. Choose the option of "any" (or maybe it's "either"). That should give you many threads. Most people use 3"-4" BUT for a proper match to the sail, you must tune your mast to having that amount. And DO order a loose footed main. Much easier to rig and unrig plus they don't distrot their shape like the old style shelf footed mains did (as the boltrope shrank). Racing sailors in the know almost never get anything else. Who are you getting it from and how much?
