3rd Annual Upper Midwest Championship

The 3rd Annual Upper Midwest S2 6.7,6.9 & 22 Championship Regatta will be held July 26, 27, 2003 on Pelican Lake. The S2 regatta is held in conjunction with the 37th Annual Wallwork Regatta. Pelican Lake is located midway between Detroit Lakes and Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Final registration begins on Friday July 25, 2003 at the Pelican Lake Yacht Club. The event includes three races on Saturday a lunch and a dinner with live musical entertainment that evening. Sunday includes two races and an awards ceremony following the final race. Mooring space is available if desired or you will be allowed to dry sail. The Pelican Lake Yacht club is a member of the Inland Lakes Yacht Association. Pelican Lake currently has three 6.9's sailing every Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If you want to relax and socialize with other S2 owners put this event on your schedule. The racing is on a relaxed level not hard core competitive, but with a huge emphasis on fun! Mike Ostbye
