32 nd Leech Lake Regatta

The 32nd Leech Lake Regatta will be held on Leech Lake. Leech Lake is Minnesota's third largest lake. The past three years the event has had over 50 keel boats. There have been 3 6.9's and 1 6.7 registered. This is a great event. One race per day but huge courses some races have had elapsed time over 6 hours. The dates are August 16, 17,18, 2003. Leech Lake is located near Walker Minnesota. This is a wonderful family event many activities. I hope to see some of you in Minnesota the land of over 10,000 lakes this summer. Mike Ostbye
