Thanks for the responses. Ken, how do you know the 7.9 is self righting? Every 7.9 owner I have contacted will say the boat is self righting, but when pressed for hard information to back up the claim the conversation ends. This is important in my case because the complaining skippers sail 7.9's I beat one boat for boat pretty consistently and usually correct on another one. The third is well sailed and I haven't beaten him yet.
