Forestay tension and rake

Report: outside forum guidelines

When Tuning my mast this week, the forestay tension is low.I have the rake where I want but after tensioning the shrouds, forestay tension is too low with the backstay eased.Info I've read say the uppers control forestay tension on fract rigs with swept spreaders, and to a lesser degree the backstay provides some add'l tension. Does anyone find that backstay tension contributes most to the forestay tension and shrouds contribute less, or is something wrong? Thanks, Ken#186.
