I;ve done it on my 22 when we pulled a halyard through, I didn't go all the way up though, just up the the halyard openings. I was on the starboard side of the mast fishing a lead wire down through the mast when the guy who was helping me decided to step to the starboard side. I thought for sure the boat was going to flip over. I was in the mast of the boat next to me. my helper then moved to the port side and I shot over Tarzan style to the port. he then laid on the center line, some people grabbed all the lines at the dock and the boat settled down. I got my a** down after that, drank some beers and got more people on the lines. I went back up and finished the job. If you do this, get people to hold every line you have to keep the boat from rocking. Put both jib and main halyards on you. get up and down as fast as you can and drink some brews to keep the nerves cool (optional).
