Out of service for awhile

Report: outside forum guidelines

I'm typing this from the Topeka (KS) Public Library. A virus (or similar bad news) hit my usual computer and wiped out completely my hard drive. It's blank. Gone are all e-mail addresses, files, programs, etc. Completely B - L - A - N - K I'd recently put Norton Firewall on the machine but whatever did it could have enetered the computer before that and had a time delay fuse, etc. I have an older computer but it has a slow modem and I'm getting that replaced. It'll be a few days until I can receive e-mail again. Then begins the slow process of trying to replace and reconstruct missing data. If you need to contact me, you can call me at 272-9468.
