You sanity may still be in check. Jim and I left a lake full of water to go to Pelican Lake.
Jim complained about my lifelines hurting his back up at Pelican Lake. A cheap solution to that problem is to buy some swimming noodles at walmart. I always bought the orange ones, The problem is after the sun bakes them a while they start to flake. The boat looks like you spilled a bag of cheetos!
Seriously: I like lifelines, They keep the jib onboard when you drop it to raise the spinnaker, They act like curb feelers when going to the bow and when properly cushioned make a great back rest.
But you know, our boats would be great without them. I can definetly see advantages of loosing the lifelines.
