KY Lake Regatta

Report: outside forum guidelines

The S2 regatta will happen on September 13th. There is no requirement to the number of boats. This event will happen if it is only Jimmy and me. The event is not sponsered by the Ky Lake Sailing Club but it will have it's support. Rules: The races will be held using the 2001 to 2004 US Sailing Rules. Class S2 6.7, 6.9 and 22 will be raced together and considered equal. Although we are striving for a one design fleet, There will be no penalty for any alterations made to the boat or rigging. Coarse: Triangle or Windward Leeward. Vote now and vote often. Depending on wind we could get 5 races on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. Agenda: Friday 12th Registration: 6 PM to 9 PM Saturday 13th Late Registration 9AM to 9:30 AM Saturday 13th Skippers Meeting 9:30 AM Saturday 13th First race 10:30AM Last race not to start after 3:00 PM Bring your lunch the racing doesn't stop. Saturday Night ? Sunday 14th first Race 9:30 (no skipper's meeting, meet on the water.) Sunday 14th 12.00 PM awards and stuff Sunday 14th 12:30 PM done The goal of this regatta is to bring S2 owners together. If you haven't raced before and need some tips and rules of the road I could provide that at 8:30 Saurday morning. I am very proud of our boats and am looking forward to to meeting yall in Ky. I have to ask this Question. Why did you buy an S2 if you didn't plan to race sometime?
