Bob, my 6.9 LK has the same problem. The single block with becket that attatches to the keel is complety corroded up. There is an eye on the metal bridge however, so I may try to use fiddle block and create a 4:1 system. My question is about attatching the fiddle block to the keel. I assume I just need to find some type of connecting hardware that allows the fiddle block to swivel where it attatches to the keel tang?

actually, doesn't need to swivel. just need a shackle (i.e. connecting HW) -- John Cunningham 6.7 #84 Marblehead -- 6/27/04 2:13p.m.
