I sent my rudderhead, pintles attached, along with our gudgeons to them. (See the earlier post with Law's comments about gudgeons.)

They'll map out the rudder cheek plate size and hole locations, wood thickness, etc., so that when a member needs one, they'll have the dimesnions to make an OEM equivalent. We won't do "one ahead" because the demand will be very low and the cost will be fairly high ($550 - 800?) based on one previous one we had made.

We may do one or two ahead on pintles and gudgeons.

I also sent so they can measure and reproduce if needed:

one ss strap (aft end of tiller)

the mast tabernacle hinged assembly and mast butt plate. (I don't look for them to reproduce this but I wanted them to have the dimensions. For instance, I'm going to use a much heavier (and better) mast hinged plate from Ballenger Spars http://www.sfsailing.com/ballengerspars/ which I recommend to anyone who does a lot of trailering and mast raising and lowering. I want to make sure that my use of the Ballenger fitting keeps my mast at the same height as OEM.)

Also sent:

-- one through bolt over the top of the 6.7 LK trunk (most 6.7s have two of these). They keep the LK (lifting keel) captive in case the boat turtles.

-- one LK pin (like a huge clevis) as used on 6.7s and 6.9s top restrict the LK from being raised higher.

You can use hardware store bolts but these are ss and neater. We'll get prices on all of these so if someone wants to have their boat OEM, they can order from IdaSailor.
