Report: outside forum guidelines

I got the boat home and opened up a square in the cabin sole. Everything looked good inside the tank. The screw holes were just large enough (1/4") that the screws just pulled out.
I drilled down from the top, plenty of glass on the top of the humps. Then I explored the sides of the screw holes with a router type drill bit in a Dremel tool and the sides just melted away. Guess what I found inside the humps.....chunks of plywood. No metal at all. Go figure.
