Light wires

Lots of other trailer folk install a dedicated ground wire. Many have problems with the ground going through the chassy, (that's a standard stock setup).

If you haven't already, I'd suggest that you run an extra ground wire from the front and then back to each rear light directly.

Sounds like you had a good trip! I favor East and Southern part of America. (Haven't gotten atound to sailing there yet but plan to later.)
