But I'd say don't waste your money on winches (now, Wenches, on the other hand... Not sure how large/small you are, but I've never needed a winch, and don't much like them, anyways. Besides, a couple of seconds on the tiller and you can relieve pressure on the sail enough, as is, to do by hand. I don't know the exact spec of my Genoa, but a quick math check puts it about 130% - 135%. There are so many obvious 'pro's' to having a 2023 it'll be self evident that she is for you, depending on what your desires are (I don't need to waste bandwidth singing them). The only REAL concern you *may* have... is the ballast tank, and even that's not a SUPER concern, especially if you're handy. Fair winds, Gary |
