I just got home from a a few days of sailing in Morro Bay with one of my friends. I must say that if you live in California, and are considering taking your santana2023 or other small trailerable sailboat there to go camping, don't expect much from the harbor. They are completely against the idea of someone bringing in a trailer launched sailboat and camping. We ended up sleeping on the boat on its trailer at the launch ramp because even though the yacht club had an empty dock and several empty moorings for $20 and $15 per night respectively, they were not allowed (I think by the city) to let me stay there since I didn't come from the sea. The second day we were there bay was completely fogged in even after 3pm so we just came home a day early.
