(nm) (Seth Dabney, 2023-C, Oxford, MS) Seth, I assume you have a backstay setup? I now have more information on how I'm going to create mine. I was originally concerned with the compromised cockpit space by adding a back stay. However, I am going to use Amsteel rope with a "Y" split on the transom (the "Y" split is 3/32" wire and is not very high/wide -doesn't get in the way of the ladder or motor.) This rope has very little stretch and is much larger and is softer to the touch than a wire. For adjustment of the mast rake, I will use my old boom vang block and tackle setup. Any suggestions?
