In Response To: Sailing 2023 in Mission Bay (Doug Schnorbus)

I sailed though there two years ago to watch the fire works. It is very close at high tide but if you stay towards the center you should just manage to get though. Make sure you pin your rudder up going up that boat ramp I forgot and ground mine a little, Also take a pair of beater shoes the ramp is good for taction but not feet.

Check out the marina in Chula Vista off J st I boat camped there once lots of fun.

The ramp in Pt. loma takes some skill practice alot before going there also trailer manuvering it is small and very busy.
