centerboard pin

It fits into indentations in the hull, held up with two #14 SS wood screws, 2" long; and covered with polyester compound (like Bondo), no glass. I replaced the screws with 1/4" machine screws and locknuts glassed into the water ballast tank. Pick below is what the pin would look like before the Bondo.

When the screws start to loosen up, the bondo will pop out and then the board will fall out.
