In the future you may want to just try muscling the mast up. Thsi is the way we hve done it since we purchased the boat and find it rather easy to raise the mast. Even when we added the coax to the antennea, we found it a little more difficult, but we just need to put a little more back into it. Did you get an opportunity to look into San Diego Bay for your next trip? I understand that Doug ran into one of my coworkers at Lake Pleasant when he dropped off the boat the other day.
