Tom once told me that the company would bring any boat back into production if four or more were ordered in a defined time period.

They keep all the molds and templates for all the boats taken out of production. Lenore Collins who used to work there told me Schock never made money on the 2023 series - hence the discontinuation. They need to build this boat right and put it in the mid-30K range to make a go of it.

I would love to see a beefed-up version brought back. One suggestion I would make is to can the #&%@^! roller furling main and install lazy jacks as a standard item. They work like a charm on the Harbor 20.

Having said all that, our 2023 has been in the family for 13 years and it is our last boat. I'm glad I got it cheap!
