Or maybe a barney post, like the Harbor 20 has? Another possible mod I've seen on other small boats is to lead the mainsheet forward along the boom to two small blocks port & starboard, splitting off to a double ended system which leads each side to cleats mounted on the cabin top. Worked great on a Catalina 22. Any thoughts?
