Installed by the previous owner, just forward of the hinged lids of my 2023C. I have receipts showing it was purchased from Schock. Attached with several through bolts through each seat.

My current wooden tiller rests on the aluminum track. This does a tiller support function as Gary's wheel when the traveler car is out of the way (to one side). When the car is in the middle, the tiller can be fitted into the car and the tiller position set to any point by positioning the car.

The photo shows a stock tiller that we carry as a spare (originally Rudy's). The first wooden tiller I bought broke that day, so we swapped out and kept sailing (late Dec 2005). The original tiller broke on the previous owner during a race so he stuck a broom handle in the broken end and finished the race. Now I have an wooden IdaSailor tiller that has never failed.
