That was quite a trip. I'm new (this spring) to the 2023 and spent the summer painting my house and have only had it out 3 times but didn't conciser it an open water boat. I know there are days you could canoe across Lake Superior and days that it will sink a 800' ore boat. I have been on long deliveries on the Great Lakes and spent a month+ bringing up a 55' Chris White catamaran from the Turk's and Caico's Islands, up the Atlantic, and thru the Erie Canal to Chicago so I have sailed a lot over the pats 35 years. It had to be a real hoot to make that trip in the 2023. How long were the 2 lake crossings where you just had to commit to being offshore with nowhere to go till you got across. How many on board?
