Gary,
Mine is a "3-bow" bimini. I think it is the smallest in length that they offer. Pics are on one of my old computers somewhere, which I do need to find so i will have the pics again eventually .
It is mounted far enough forward so that my traveler-mounted mainsheet (when sheeted tight, the mainsheet runs vertically straight up to the end of the boom) operated freely. This places the bimini so that the companion way is well sheltered and my "dodger" snaps on and protects the companionway when it is almost completely open. Keep in mind that mine is an "A" with the companionway farther forward than on a "C".
Look on George's 2023 site, on the home page, the "Having Fun" pic is my boat and you can see the bimini up while flying the main and spinnaker.
Yes, it folds forward onto the cabin when not wanted. Or it fits below if I want it out of the way. The Overton bimini came with basic mounting hardware 10 years ago . Don't know about now. I cut down the legs a bit so it would fit under my boom which meant re-riveting the fittings, no big deal.
