I mounted one last year, it is a "Fulton" brand. I believe it's at the low end of the cost scale, but seems to work pretty well. (Under $90)
Without it, the motor would start to cavitate when someone was on the bow (I have a long shaft -too). This was not a good situation when motoring into a crowded marina. With it, the boat responds so much better at low speeds, due to the total submersion of the prop.
Only a few minor "cons" that I can see: As Bob mentioned, you will need to drill two holes beneath the deck. (Seal them and you're fine). Second, the mounting angle on the transom of the 2023C will require a shim or something of the sort.
I will dig up some pictures and try to attach them within a day or two.
