You know, something has developed in my mind, both from yesterday and today, while reading your guys' discussion. Not sure if it's true, but thinking there may be something to it. As stated earlier, it 'SEEMS' like it's always the 'C's that have the leak right there. Not always, though the only other (model) I can think of off hand is George's 'A' model... yet he explained on his site that it had been damaged (small crack) due to a heavy impact. I notice on my 'A' that this area is well built up with 'glass.
There may well be nothing to this... probably not... but I am now thinking that there (again, 'seems') has been an innordinate amount of discussion from the 'C' owners about the flooded air chamber. I suddenly wish I had info from every owner who has had water in the air chamber, and would like to break it down per model. Maybe the percentage is the same, but, thinking back through the years, I'm thinking that this has been FAR more a frequent problem for the 'C' owners? If so, should be able to put our heads together and figure out why, and take corrective action?
