Here's how I lifted the boat off the beds while on the trailer:
This is easily achieved by placing a jack with a board on it under the transom. The transom is very strong. I did this with no problem at all. However, you do need to gradually add concrete blocks or something under the jack as you lift it. Also, you need to have a set of blocks or something directly next to the jack directly under the transom as you go higher. You gradually add height back and forth.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the springs on the trailer will cause the trailer to go higher as you jack the boat up. Therefore, you will be jacking the boat up at least one foot. Tip: Alternating the trailer height from the bow can raise and lower the transom to make the whole process easier.
Raising the bow was much easier because all I had to do was place a solid block under the bow and then lower the front of the trailer.
You can also gain a few more inches by removing the wheels!
