Santana 21 - I'm new to sailing

I'm looking at my first sailboat this weekend. A friends dad is getting rid of his Santana 21 thats been sitting in his yard for 15 years. It needs a good cleaning and some work, especially on the trailer, but I'm going to need to get new sails. Any guesses on how much that will run me? I've been searching the internet some in my spare time, but hoped some of you S21 owners might have some insight for me. I need to decide how much to pay him for it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
