Grand Rapids! Cool! I look forward to meeting you in person one day. I'm in Muskegon who's lake is great for all round sailing, but so is Spring Lake, White Lake and Pentwater. Once you've got a little time on the water, Lake Michigan goes on forever!

Look for soft spots in the decking and cockpit areas. Delaminating core is a problem I'd rather not deal with.

Definately check out the keel cable and the standing rigging. Either can spoil your whole day! (Experience talking here!)

I'd love to see your S21 and talk "boats" anytime. I'm in Muskegon and my cell is (231)670-0860. Give me a call and I'll meet you in G.R. or Newaygo. Wherever the boat is. I'm in sales, so anywhere in West Michigan is "local" to me.

There are a lot of experienced sailors on this site. They've always been helpful to me. Remember the only foolish question is the one you don't ask.

God Bless,

David.

P.S. I hope the "501Spartan" means you're an MSU fan. Way too many of those other guys around!!!
