I posted pics of it a couple years ago. Don't think I kept the pics. In fact, George is the one that educated me that I was missing 'the hump'. Kind of still didn't have a clue, until I sailed with Rudy... 18 mounts ago? (I still have the scar, Rudy! Anyway, I finally figured out that the upside down bucket was covering the hump. Wish I'd taken a good look at it. Assume the bucket was to warn people from slapping their knees on it. Anyway, my sole is flat. Can see where the sole has been opened in the past, bracketing both sides of the trunk... but smaller access each side, say 8-10" X maybe 18"?? I can ALMOST swear that I can see a 'line' a couple inches from the edge of the sole, very similar to the cut out sections depicted of Rudy's work (on George's site), but can't swear to it. Anyway, I have a pipe section that has been glassed into/through the sole. Short piece, it's on the starboard side, just inside the lower cubby, under the sink. Tubing connects this pipe (WB tank) to the sink drain. Well up this tubing is a 'T' connection, from which another tube runs at an DOWN angle, out the starboard side drain vent. If you've followed all this, as I flood the tank, and she settles lower, she really spews out a lot of air and bubbles once that drain hole settles below the waterline, not to mention also venting out through the sink. I'll check for pics. Doubtful. If ones attached, obviously I still have them in a file somewhere. If you're really curious, you can meet me as I drive by your place this July. Better yet, follow me to the North Channel, launching at Spanish, Ontario!
Hey, just found the pic! Described it slightly different, but here it is. Just pretend you can see a cutout, showing a pipe through the sole, and there it is. Pretty complex looking valve, eh?
