But really, I cannot imagine how your CB managed to break the trunk like that. Also, your wood looks much better off than mine. Sanded already in this shot? Thought about how you opened your sole awhile back. Like the idea, but don't like the extra work 'closing' time.

Actually, on second consideration, perhaps I can envision how the trunk fractured. Starboard side was WINDWARD, starboard side CB pin failed initially (not both sides). Thus, force transmitted by the CB head against the inside starboard trunk, as the CB 'angled' off leeward. Heck, even the fracture line is a close resemblance, in rough outline, to the CB head.

Very nice, clean looking tank. I am envious.
